  • Where are you located? What areas do you serve?
We are based out of Oakland, California. The primary regions that we serve include the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Sonoma County, Napa County, Sacramento and Monterey. However, we are willing to travel throughout California, if scheduling allows.
  • What are your fees?
Our packages are customized based on a variety of factors, including location, hours, number of guests, number of bartenders, and the services you are requesting. Please start by taking a look at the example packages on our Services page. Once you have an idea of the services you are looking for, please email us through our Contact page to discuss your custom package and quote.
  • Do you provide the alcohol?
No, our packages do not include any alcohol. You will need to purchase the alcohol from a separate vendor (store, your caterer, your venue), which will then be mixed and served by our bartenders. However, all of the prep work leading up to your alcohol purchase will be done by us--we will help you to decide what you need to order, how much you need to order, and when/where it should arrive.
  • Do you provide the bartenders?
Yes, we provide the appropriate number of bartenders needed for your event. The Whiskey Chaser is set-up to acccommodate up to 2 bartenders working out of the trailer. It has one bar on the long side of the trailer and one bar at the rear of the trailer. This allows for 2 beverage lines to form, for less wait-time and more party-time for your guests! If your event requires more than 2 bartenders, we can set-up additional bar stations outside of the trailer, as needed.
  • What types of events are you able to serve?
We are able to serve at private events. This includes weddings, birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, corporate parties, fundraisers, etc. For public events, it is the responsiblity of the client to secure necessary permitting. Events must not be operating as a "cash bar", as we are unable to sell alcohol from our trailer.
  • I love the idea of fun custom cocktails! Can you help me choose?
Yes! For packages that include craft cocktail service, our packages include customization of these cocktails just for you! We are glad to take your guidance, if you have a certain cocktail in mind, or we can mix up a handful of fun options for you to choose from during your consultation. We specialize in creating custom craft cocktails using fresh organic ingredients, infused syrups, etc. We pride ourselves in creating cocktails that are just as impressive as our vintage horse trailer bar!
  • I have no idea how much alcohol to order! Can you help with the decision making?
Yes! Part of our service is to walk you through the process of planning all things beverage-related. We are glad to help you to decide on the amounts and types of alcohol, mixers, juices, etc. Our goal is to make this part of the party planning easy and fun!
  • What is the process to reserve a date?
Once you have taken a look at the packages on our Services page, please email us through our Contact page. After discussing the details of your event (date, time, venue, number of guests, services desired, etc), we will send you a custom quote. A non-refundable deposit will be required in order to hold your date.
  • Can we add decorations to the trailer?
Yes, you are welcome to add decorations to the trailer to help match the look of your event. However, the trailer is designed to be able to stand alone without any additional decor. Our custom wooden back door serves as a great background for a photo booth setup. Any decorations added by the client must be hung without using nails, glue, or anything that would permanently alter the trailer. We also offer a selection of decor that can be added to your package for an additional cost (chalk board signage, vintage wooden crates, standing beverage tubs, etc).
  • Can you serve beer out of kegs?
Yes. The Whiskey Chaser is equipped with 2 taps that are linked to a kegerator. The kegerator can fit one half keg or two slim quarter kegs, while keeping them icy cold for the duration of your party. Additional kegs can be set on ice to keep them cold before they go into the kegerator.
  • Where can the trailer be positioned?
When unhitched and with all bars in place, The Whiskey Chaser is approximately 18 feet long by 8 feet wide. We can position the trailer anywhere that allows enough room to drive the towing vehicle out of the party area after unhitching (or allows us to back the trailer into place). Flat open space is ideal, but we should be able to manuever the trailer into most spaces.
  • Is electricity required?
Our interior lighting runs off of a battery which can last the duration of your event, so we are able to function without electricity, if needed. However, we prefer to be located within 100 feet of a standard 120V outlet, which will allow us to power our kegerator and mini-fridge. In addition, we have extra outlets of all types within the trailer, which can provide power for additonal applicances (espresso machine, frozen beverage dispensers, speakers, etc).
  • Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. The Whiskey Chaser is insured with General Liability Insurance as well as Alcohol Insurance policies and is licensed as a business.
  • Can the trailer be rented without the bartending service?
Yes. The trailer can be rented out for filming, photo shoots, etc. Please contact us for a quote based upon your need.
